About the role:
The Card Scheme Project Coordinator supports the successful delivery of card scheme-related initiatives at Enfuce. Working closely with the Senior Card Scheme Project Manager, this role helps coordinate project activities, maintain documentation, support scheme-related reporting, and assist with BIN Sponsorship workflows.
This is a development role for someone building expertise in card schemes, payment processing, tokenization, and scheme compliance. The role is suited to a structured, detail-oriented, and proactive person who can support cross-functional collaboration while learning how card scheme projects are planned, governed, delivered, and continuously improved.
The Card Scheme Project Coordinator will contribute to the BIN Sponsorship team by helping ensure that project information, Jira workflows, documentation, scheme enquiries, and internal coordination are managed effectively. Over time, the role is expected to take ownership of smaller or lower-complexity scheme-related workstreams under guidance from the Senior Card Scheme Project Manager.
What you'll be doing:
Support the Senior Card Scheme Project Manager in the planning, coordination, execution, and closure of card scheme-related projects.
Assist with project administration, including maintaining project plans, action logs, meeting notes, status updates, RAID logs, and delivery documentation.
Support ad hoc project work related to BIN setups, configurations, card scheme enquiries, and BIN Sponsorship workflows.
Help coordinate internal stakeholders across relevant teams to gather requirements, track dependencies, follow up on actions, and support timely delivery.
Assist with tokenization-related projects, including Apple Pay and Google Pay initiatives, by helping coordinate tasks, documentation, testing readiness, stakeholder updates, and implementation tracking.
Maintain and update scheme-related documentation, ensuring information is structured, accurate, accessible, and aligned with agreed internal standards.
Support scheme and tokenization-related reporting, including tracking open items, documentation gaps, issue resolution, and progress against project milestones.
Help monitor relevant card scheme updates, scheme rules, and regulatory/compliance requirements, escalating key changes or uncertainties to the Senior Card Scheme Project Manager.
Support internal teams in understanding and applying scheme-related requirements, under guidance from the Senior Card Scheme Project Manager or relevant subject matter experts.
Assist with Jira board development and maintenance for BIN Sponsorship workflows, including templates, ticket hygiene, dashboards, process documentation, and best practice adoption.
Help identify project risks, blockers, or process gaps and escalate them appropriately.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve documentation, workflow efficiency, reporting, and project governance.
Build working knowledge of scheme providers, embossing houses, processors, internal operational teams, and other stakeholders involved in card scheme delivery.
What you'll bring:
Some experience in project coordination, project management, operations, delivery support, payments, financial services, fintech, compliance, or a related environment.
Interest in developing expertise in card schemes, payment networks, BIN Sponsorship, tokenization, and payment processing.
Basic understanding of project management principles, such as planning, milestones, dependencies, risks, actions, and status reporting.
Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
Good communication skills, with the ability to follow up clearly, summarise information, and keep stakeholders informed.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities while escalating risks, blockers, or unclear requirements.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel/Google Sheets, or similar workflow and documentation tools.
A proactive and solution-focused attitude, with willingness to learn from senior colleagues and subject matter experts.
Interest in process improvement, documentation quality, governance, and operational efficiency.
Curiosity about risk, compliance, scheme rules, and how regulatory or scheme requirements affect product and project delivery.
Nice to have:
Exposure to Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, tokenization, BIN configuration, card issuing, acquiring, processing, or digital payments.
Previous experience in a fintech, bank, issuer processor, payment service provider, card programme manager, or regulated financial services environment.
Experience using Jira and Confluence for project tracking, workflow management, documentation, or operational processes.
Familiarity with reporting, dashboards, process mapping, or workflow standardisation.
Understanding of basic risk and compliance concepts in financial services.
